8th of june: World Ocean Day

The 8th of june is the World Oceans Day, a date to remember the importance of this ecosystem for the balance of climate and biodiversity.

The oceans absorb about 30% of the carbon dioxide that we produce and generate at least 50% of the oxygen that we consume (Source: UN).

But they also suffer from the consequences of our actions, such as global warming, pollution and overfishing. That’s why we need to take care of the oceans as they take care of us.
